“As a lifelong vinyl collector I know the feeling of wanting to hold on to everything I’ve amassed over the years. But when it finally came time for me to slim down my collection Phildelphia Music / Beautiful World Syndicate was who I turned to. Not only did they come to me and take almost 5,000 records off of my hands, we were able to put that entire collection together on their website for consignment, making the process seamless and painless. The best thing is that from all the records that I wasn’t listening to, it flipped to credit so that I could finally fill my collection with the records I truly wanted. Thanks Beautiful World Syndicate, you have my seal of approval!”

“I found the entire consignment sales experience with Philadelphia Music to be one of integrity, fairness, and very lucrative.”
“I am a long time music collector and over time amassed a collection of more than 13,000 vinyl albums (including rock, blues, folk, country, and jazz records). I also owned Rockit Records in Saugus, MA for a period of 2 1/2 years (1980 - 1982). When I retired in 2022, I contacted Philadelphia Music to see if they were interested in selling my vinyl collection on a consignment basis. Jon Yates and Brian Cassidy of Philadelphia Music were extremely accommodating in working out a very fair consignment sales agreement. They came to my house in Massachusetts and loaded all of my vinyl albums onto a truck to take back to their warehouse, all at their own expense. Over the next two years, Philadelphia Music did a meticulously careful job of pricing, listing, and selling my records on discogs.com and ebay. Each week, they would send me very detailed reports of the records that had been sold, the inventory that was still active, and the calculations of the payout due to me, as well as sending me a weekly payout through Paypal. I was extremely pleased with their pricing of my albums, their service, and their responsiveness to any questions that I had over that entire two year period. In all of my dealings with them, I found the staff and owners at Philadelphia Music to be trustworthy, honorable, hard-working, and very fair. As a result of selling my albums on consignment through Philadelphia Music, I received considerably more money than any of the lump sum offers that I had received from other companies that wanted to buy my collection outright. Because of my great experience selling my vinyl albums through Philadelphia Music, I made another arrangement with them to sell my large 45 record collection on consignment as well, and that arrangement has proven to be just as positive and lucrative as my earlier experience with them. In sum, I found the entire consignment sales experience with Philadelphia Music to be one of integrity, fairness, and very lucrative, and I would not hesitate to use them again when (and if) I decide to sell my large CD collection.”
